Terms of access and use of the Géoportail National du Cameroun platform.
These terms of use define the conditions under which users may access and use the Géoportail National du Cameroun platform, published and operated by the National Institute of Cartography (INC). By accessing the platform, the user accepts these conditions without reservation.
Access to the Geoportal platform is free and open. Anyone can consult geospatial data, view maps and explore the geocatalogue without prior registration.
However, certain advanced features (data download, custom map saving, API access, data publication) require creating a user account. The user agrees to provide accurate information during registration and to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
The Geoportal platform, including its design, source code, features and architecture, is the exclusive property of the National Institute of Cartography (INC).
The geospatial data made available on the platform is, unless otherwise stated, distributed under Open Licence / Licence Ouverte Etalab 2.0. This license authorizes the free reuse of data, including for commercial purposes, provided the source is acknowledged. Datasets subject to specific restrictions are clearly identified in the geocatalogue.

INC makes every effort to ensure the availability, reliability and currency of the data and services offered on the Geoportal. However, INC cannot guarantee the absence of errors, interruptions or malfunctions of the platform.
The user is solely responsible for the use they make of data downloaded or consulted via the Geoportal. INC disclaims all liability for direct or indirect consequences resulting from the use of data, particularly in the context of administrative, legal or commercial decisions.
INC reserves the right to modify these terms of use at any time. Users will be notified of any substantial modification by a notice published on the platform. Continued use of the Geoportal after publication of modifications constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.
