The Publication Director of the Géoportail National du Cameroun is the Director General of the National Institute of Cartography (INC), in his capacity as legal representative of the institution.

The Géoportail National du Cameroun is hosted on a secure infrastructure located in Cameroon, in compliance with digital sovereignty requirements and national geospatial data protection. The hosting ensures high availability and regular data backup.

All content of the Géoportail National du Cameroun — including but not limited to texts, images, logos, graphic elements, design, site architecture and source code — is protected by intellectual property law.

The Geoportal logo and the National Institute of Cartography (INC) logo are registered trademarks. Any unauthorized reproduction, representation or use of these elements is strictly prohibited.

The geospatial data published on the platform is subject to the license conditions specific to each dataset, as specified in the geocatalogue and in the terms of use.

INC strives to ensure the accuracy and currency of information published on the Geoportal. However, INC cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy or currency of the information made available.

INC shall not be held liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from access to or use of the site, including inaccessibility, data loss, deterioration or viruses that may affect the user''s computer equipment.

The Geoportal may contain hyperlinks to third-party sites. INC exercises no control over these sites and disclaims all liability regarding their content, privacy practices or availability.

These legal notices are governed by Cameroonian law. Any dispute relating to the use of the Géoportail National du Cameroun shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Yaoundé, Cameroon.

In the event of a conflict between these legal notices and any other applicable provision, these legal notices shall prevail to the extent permitted by law.
